I'm a D.I.T, doctor in training. Right now i'm at the stage where everyone i know assumes i am now a walking talking medical encyclopedia, when in fact i'm still trying to remember what the pancreas does. I'm loving every minute of learning about our wierd and wonderful bodies, but i'm feeling increasingly torn. You see, I have another love. Some may say its a forbidden love, one which is all consuming, and continually fills my thoughts when i should be listening to an empassioned speech about the importance of body pH balance.
Hello, my name is Victoria, and i'm a chocoholic.
I like to think i'm not just your run of the mill chocoholic either. Through sheer perseverance (i turned up everyday for two weeks, armed with a cv and a smile!) i managed to finegal my way into a part time job at a chocolate shop. Based in borough market. Yeah, you actually just read that.
This blog is going to be choc-a-bloc with recipes, reviews, ramblings and ravings. Granted chocolate will probably be a common theme, but with the amazing produce of borough market, and vibrant foodie culture of south east London, chances are I may get slightly side tracked!
I'd love any and all feedback, blogging's pretty new to me, and i'm sure mistakes will be made, recipes will fail and i may accidentally post my shopping list, but hey, in the word's of Forrest Gump, "Life is like a box of chocolates, You never know what you're gonna get" :-)
